Fatimah Aboutaleb is a Journalism graduate from Sheridan College in Ontario, Canada. I completed my high school diploma at Clarkson Secondary School in Mississauga, Ontario, where I discovered my passion for journalism and media.
I was born in Toronto to Egyptian immigrant parents who came to Canada in the 1980s. My childhood was split between Toronto and Cairo, where I spent over a decade. This experience allowed me to immerse myself in both Canadian and Egyptian cultures. As a result, I have developed an open-minded perspective towards diverse cultures, viewpoints, and ideas.
